Harley-Davidson India today launched Forty-Eight Special and 2019 Street Glide Special at an introductory price of Rs 10.98 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 30.53 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. The company now has a total of 17 models on offer in the country.
Forty-Eight Special gets a 1202 cc, Evolution V-Twin engine, which churns out 96 Nm of torque. The sportster gets an emulsion rear shock with a screw pre-load adjuster that helps in easy adjustment according to the riding style.
Also, Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight Special comes with split nine-spoke cast aluminium wheels, 7.25-inch tallboy handlebars, massive triple clamps and 49 mm front forks. It gets a bulldog stance with a slammed speedometer and peanut tank, and a ribbed solo-style seat. There is a balance of blacked-out and chrome finishes in the sportster and 70's inspired tank graphic and badge shows its retro roots.

With the all-new Forty-Eight Special, Harley-Davidson India takes it motorcycle line up to 17 models," Harley-Davidson India Managing Director Sajeev Rajasekharan said.

A Milwaukee-Eight 114 V-twin engine powers the 2019 Street Glide Special. The 1,868 cc motor is good for 163 Nm of torque. The tourer gets talon cast aluminium wheels with 32 mm brakes. High performing front and rear suspension, along with easily adjustable rear shocks, results in a controlled drive.
The new Boom Box 6.5 GTS infotainment system gives the 2019 Street Glide Special a contemporary look. It comes with stretched saddlebags and blacked-out front forks, handlebars, tank console and exhaust.
