Akshay Kumar, who is currently on a vacation to an undisclosed place with his family, found an unusual way to test his muscle power and at the same time earn some quick money. On their holiday, he took a challenge to hang on to a horizontally suspended pole for the longest time to earn 100 pounds. Twinkle Khanna, actor's wife and author, took to Instagram to share the video.
Sharing the video, Twinkle wrote, "Just hanging in there! Not happy with hitting the Forbes list- he wants to make a quick 100 pounds here as well :) #GoofingAround (sic)."
Apart from being the fittest actor in Bollywood, Khiladi Kumar is Bollywood's top-earning star according to Forbes' World's Highest-Paid Celebrities of 2019. The actor ranks 33rd on the coveted list, which is topped byAmerican singer-songwriter Taylor Swift.
With a total earning of 65 million USD (Rs 446 crore) from June 2018-June 2019, Akshay has beaten international A-listers like Rihanna, Jackie Chan, Bradley Cooper and Scarlett Johansson.
On the work front, Akshay Kumar has a busy year ahead. His next film Mission Mangal, which is based on the scientists of Indian Space Research Organisation who contributed to India's first interplanetary mission, Mars Orbiter Mission. Directed by Jagan Shakti, the film is scheduled to release on August 15. Mission Mangal also features Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sharman Joshi, Kirti Kulhari and Nithya Menen in pivotal roles.
The actor has finished shooting for Farhad Samji's multistarrer Housefull 4. The film also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, Pooja Hegde, Rana Daggubati and Chunky Pandey, among others. Apart from these films, he will also be seen in Raj Mehta's Good News, which is a comedy film based on surrogacy, Raghava Lawrence's Laxmmi Bomb and Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi.
In Laxmmi Bomb, Akshay will play the role of a man possessed by the ghost of a transgender. Buzz has it that the film will also feature Amitabh Bachchan playing a ghost. With Sooryavanshi, Akshay has entered the cop universe of Rohit Shetty, The film, which was shot in Bangkok recently, was also shot in Hyderabad. Sooryavanshi will the reunion of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif after the 2010 film Tees Maar Khan.
