Shahid Kapoor is on Cloud 9 after the golden success of his latest film Kabir Singh, which has crossed Rs 240 crore at the domestic box office.
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, after the success of Kabir Singh, Shahid has hiked his fee. Rumour has it that he will charge around Rs 35 crore for his upcoming films. If this is true, then he would be one of the highest-paid actors in Bollywood.
After the film crossed Rs 200 crore at the box office, Shahid penned en emotional post on Instagram for all his fans. "Your love is so overwhelming words will always fall short. Thank you for understanding him forgiving him and loving him with all your heart. We all fall apart. And we all must strive to rise from our faults. To be better. To be wiser. To be kinder. He is flawed. So are we all."
He added, "You have given me wings to fly. To not only be burdened by the need to be loved to be a star but to have the courage to be hated in equal measure to be an actor.
